Our Journey
We began by searching for a new winter coat. We wanted something that would stand the test of time—not just in style, but in substance.
Free from Synthetics: No synthetics, no petro-chemicals. Just high-performance, natural materials that breathe.
Free from Worry: We wanted to be able to have a clear conscience, knowing that the hands that crafted our clothing were treated with the dignity and the respect they deserve.
Free to Move: we wanted to wear something that was made to fit women’s bodies and engineered to keep up with every move we make.
Comfort meets sustainability in every piece.
Our search made us realize that something was missing…so we decided to embark on a journey to make something new, that’s why:
Sustainability is in every fiber of our brand.
We have made it our mission to create fashion that does not harm the environment or to the communities who help us bring our dream to life.
We are choosing fabrics and finishes that we know are made ethically at factories in the EU. We personally verify the conditions of the factories that make our cloth and sew our pieces.
We strive for the smallest footprint possible with 90% of the materials for our flagship coat being grown, milled, and sewn within a 100 km radius.
Our designs are engineered using 3D modeling software, and real world measurements to fit real women.
By using digital pre-production software we reduce waste during the production process by close to 70%.
What we're made of
We are building a bridge between the past and the future—preserving traditional craftsmanship while designing clothes that will last for generations.
Our wool is sourced from small herders in Portugal’s Serra da Estrela mountain region. Burel wool is a natural, 100% biodegradable miracle. Refined by the mountain elements, this wool is spun and mechanically felted- a process that creates exceptional warmth and water resistance without a single -chemical or synthetic additive.
The sheep the wool is grown from are traditionally managed, and support the health of the environment. Without sheep, these species-rich grasslands disappear, taking with them the insects and birds that rely on them.
The mills and factories we partner with are the lifeblood of the local economies, keeping villages alive and continuing centuries of Portuguese heritage and craftsmanship.
